Nodu is a Shopify app made by Baltic Global Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data Nodu uses, why, and how you control it. We only use data to run Nodu for the store that installed it. We never sell it.
Merchants who install Nodu ("you"), visitors to getnodu.com, and the shoppers of stores that use Nodu, to the limited extent described below.
Shopify may give Nodu access to fields like customer name, email, phone and address because Shopify's analytics tools require that permission level. Nodu does not store or display these fields.
If you connect Google Search Console, Google Ads or Meta, Nodu reads performance data (clicks, impressions, spend, landing pages) to measure fixes and find wasted ad spend. Nodu only reads; it never changes your ads.
We use trusted providers to run Nodu. They process data only on our instructions:
We send these AI providers store content and questions, never payment details. Our providers do not use your data to train their models under the terms we use them on.
When you run the free check, we store the website, store name and category you enter, along with the result. We don't store your IP address.
We keep your data while Nodu is installed. When you uninstall, Shopify notifies us and we delete your store's data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law. Before-and-after snapshots used for undo are deleted with the rest.
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Shoppers can make privacy requests through the store they bought from; we handle Shopify's customer data and deletion requests automatically. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have more rights, and you can contact us to use them.
Data is encrypted in transit, store access tokens are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to people who need it to run Nodu.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
